Nikos Karapanagou, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Nikos Karapanagou has over ten years experience in software development and product & project management.  Previously, he was responsible for product development in the financial sector.  He has worked in the analysis, development and restructuring  of processes for financial institutions (loans and credit card approvals, e-banking, mobile-banking, document management, IFRS, Basel II and payments systems) whilst setting up critical projects in the telecommunications industry (Number Portability, Carrier Preselection / Local Loop Unbundling, Java Mobile games). He has served as Product Development Director for Odos Ltd. and also has experience in the development and implementation of CRM & ERP systems. Mr. Karapanagou holds a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering which he gained at the National Technical University of Athens.

Chris Kaskavelis, Member of the BoD
Chris Kaskavelis is co-founder of Velti and VCI. He has designed and been responsible for the enterprise software systems for Pratt & Whitney, Analog Devices, General Electric and Lucent Technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management as well as a M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University. Mr. Kaskavelis also studied at Brown University where he gained a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and a B.A. in Business Economics.

George Karantonis, Member of the BoD
George Karantonis is Chief Executive Officer of VCI. Before joining VCI, Mr. Karantonis served as partner and CEO at consulting firm Atlantis in Athens. Previously, he served as Director of Operations at Velti and co-founded and served as the CEO for Agiltech. He also served as the Director of Planning and Development for the Pouliadis Group of Companies. He holds a B.A. in Geology from the University of Athens, a M.Sc. in Exploration of Geophysics from the University of Leeds and a MBA from ALBA.

Pantelis Papageorgiou, Member of the BoD
Pantelis Papageorgiou is Finance Director of Velti and is primarily responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, systems and reporting for all stakeholders. Pantelis was previously head of Treasury and Financial Planning for the Gerolymatos Group. He has also served as Portfolio Manager for Allianz Finance and worked for Arthur Andersen in Boston and Athens. Pantelis holds a M.B.A. from Boston University, a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from The American College of Greece, and a MBA from Boston University.
